The Hschooler.net Team

CHN was formed as the outcome of a class on Christian business principles for students from three homeschool families. The company has been structured and organized to provide internship opportunities for homeschooled students to participate as virtual owners and operators of the business.

Russ McGuire is the founder of Christian Homeschool Network and provides oversight and coaching to the CHN interns. Russ has over 20 years experience in technology industries. He has served as a strategy executive for two Fortune 500 telecom companies, and as the Chief Strategist for TeleChoice, advising many startup and established technology companies. Christian Homeschool Network is the third technology startup Russ has founded or co-founded. Russ is also the author of the book The Power of Mobility (Wiley, 2007) and has written for several magazines, including serving as a regular columnist for Home School Enrichment, Christian Computing, Business Reform and Network World magazines.

Russ and his wife have been homeschooling their son for the past 8+ years. Russ has also taught classes in web programming and business management for other homeschool families. Russ and his family are members of Reformed Baptist Church of Kansas City. Russ has served in Men's, Children's, and Web ministries. Russ also is the main developer for Living Stones Ministries.

Much of the real work at Hschooler.net is performed by our team of homeschooled student interns. Brian leads our software and product development efforts; Andrew, Michael, and Nicholas lead marketing; Kevin focuses on internal marketing, and Austin is our graphic designer.
